Arzneien im Mittelalter

For my Bachelor Thesis I created an interactive image, introducing five different types of medicine produced and used in the Middle Ages. Through exploratory clicking and the immersiveness of the painting, the viewer’s own curiosity dictates their learning experience.The historical accuracy of the depticted kitchen and it’s contents was one of my main goals and an integral part of having multiple layers of information- that being explicit in form of text, and somewhat more passive in the background as visuals.
